Live from New York, it’s 30 Rock… again!
Tina Fey & Co. are staging yet another live episode, this one set to air on Thursday, April 26, TVLine has confirmed.
Fey’s co-star, Alec Baldwin, let the news slip during an interview with Extra.
30 Rock‘s first star-studded live experiment was broadcast in October 2010 during the show’s fifth season.

"30 Rock" Season 6 Live Show Plot Revealed
03/29/2012
"30 Rock" goes live again on Thurs., April 26 and if the last live episode is any indication, it will be ripe with guest stars.
Here's the official NBC episode description:
"When their Kabletown bosses announce they will no longer pay for 'TGS' to be a live show, Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) and Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) realize their lives will actually be easier if they shoot canned episodes fast and cheap.
Only Kenneth the Page (Jack McBrayer) objects, urging that nothing can replace the communal experience of live television. He tries to convince the 'TGS' staff to fight for their right to be live by taking them and our audience through a magical look back at the illustrious history of Studio 6H."
Like Season 5's live episode, appropriately titled 'Live Show', the cast will perform two shows, one for the East Coast and one for the West Coast.

This sounds quite interesting. Sounds like they might be going for more of a sketch-based approach rather than an episodic format, which is a good move since the most common complaint with the last live show was that it "didn't feel like a 30 Rock episode."
