WE tv has greenlighted two docu-soap series, Cyndi, starring singer Cyndi Lauper and executive produced by Mark Burnett, and Kendra On Top, starring Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett. Cyndi, which has received a 12-episode order, will chronicle the personal and professional life of Lauper who has been married to actor David Thornton for 20 years and has a 13-year-old son. The series will start production next month for a summer launch. Kendra On Top, which has received a 14-episode order (hourlong premiere and finale and 12 half-hour episodes), chronicles the everyday life of former Playboy model-turned-reality star Wilkinson-Baskett who is now a wife and a mother of one. Kevin Burns is executive producing. Production starts this month for a summer debut.
