I don't think they are traded him to a winning team.

Maybe

Cleveland
Jacksonville
Tampa bay

All those teams I mentioned have not been in the playoffs in the past 10 years

Jets have been in the playoffs in 2009

Okay Sol, I gotta ask, why should he be traded to a "losing" team?

Most players are traded to teams who are not contenders. Remember the Eagles traded Mcnabb to the Deadskins?-lol

That doesn't necessarily mean anything though.

Move over Linsanity, it's time for Tebowmania.

The New York Jets acquired QB Tim Tebow on Wednesday from the Denver Broncos, just a day after they officially signed Peyton Manning, making their 2011 starter obsolete in the Mile High City.

FOXSports' Jay Glazer broke the news.

The Jets pick up Tebow and the Broncos' seventh-round pick for a fourth- and sixth-round choice.

This whole thing with Tim Tebow and the Broncos is just crappy. I don't necessarily blame Peyton Manning, but I still think that Tebow got a raw deal. I feel bad for the guy. If this report is true, I hope the Jets treat him better and less expendably than the Broncos did.

You are 100% correct, he did get a raw deal in Denver all because of John Elway's massive ego. I don't blame Peyton Manning at all, he got a very lucrative deal and I am happy for him. Peyton is a class act, as for John Elway...not so much.

So the Jets didn't have a backup? Or was it Mark Brunell?

I think they signed Chad Henne from the Dolphins to be their back up.

I agree on that point. The only legit receiver they have under a contract is Santonio Holmes and he showed his true colors that last game of the season.

The Jets are doing the same thing to Sanchez that the Eagles did to Mcnabb in 2009 with Vick. They are preparing for the future because they didn't have full trust in Mcnabb and Vick was the starter in 2010.

So I'm saying all this to say...."Tebow will be the starter for the jets in 2013"

lol

I totally disagree. If that were the case, then why didn't the Jets go after Peyton Manning???

They did go after Peyton manning, he didn't return the Jets phone calls so that's when they decided to give Sanchez an extension.

Definitely, especially if Tebow gets hot like he did at the end of last season.
