FX’s American Horror Story is thinking about spinning around its big red chair and picking Adam Levine to be a part of Season 2.
The Maroon 5 frontman and coach of The Voice is in talks, EW.com reports, to take on his first acting role and play one half of a couple referred to as “The Lovers” in the spooktacular drama’s sophomore run.
To date, all that is known about AHS Season 2 is that it will be set on the East Coast at an “institution” and bring back Jessica Lange (who originally played Constance), Zachary Quinto (Chad), Evan Peters (Tate), Sarah Paulson (psychic Billie Dean) and Lily Rabe (doctor’s wife Nora), all as new characters.
Season 2 will also feature the yet-to-be-cast role of a “ferocious, extremely sexual and dangerous wild-child sexpot who harbors a secret” à la Angelina Jolie in Girl, Interrupted.

"American Horror Story": Adam Levine Confirms Season 2 Role
04/2/2012

"The Voice" judge and Maroon 5 frontman confirmed he's involved with Season 2 of the hit FX drama... sort of.

“Yeah, it is pretty much happening,” Levine told Ryan Seacrest when he called into his radio show.

However, Levine didn't reveal many details.

"I don't know how much I can divulge, because Ryan [Murphy, the creator] keeps it very under wraps," he said.

"It's going to be fun and I told him I didn't really know what I was doing, but he didn’t seem to care. So, I'm going to go and just try to be acting. I think I'm going to be playing myself, so hopefully it will be easy."
