If you look down towards the middle of this page, you will see a thread started by me called "Late in the Season". This has to do with ads for desinger boots that kept popping up all over this site. I was surprised to see so many ads for boots that close to sandal-wearing season. One theory that I offered was that the wearhouses were overstocked with ladies' boots and they were trying to move them to make room for sandals and other spring and summer items. In any event, it is because of "Gimme a Break!" that I became as interested in boots as I am. The site of Julie in hers in the episode "Katie Steals Julie's Jock" was a site that I truely fell in love with! Well, believe it or not, this close to the first day of spring, I am still seeing quite a few ads for ladies' boots on the pages of this site! I am thinking that maybe, because of the recession that we are first getting out of, people had so little money to buy new winter cloths and so the the boots stagnated in the wearhouses all season and now the companies really have to move them! However, in between times that I see ads for boots, I also see ads for sandals and even flip-flops by the same companies. I guess we are simply dealing with an overlap of the seasons. In closing I would just like to say that our good friend Julie looks hot in boots, sandals or anything in between!
