Where do I begin?

In light of the untimely death earlier this month of Davy Jones on February 29, 2012 of a massive heart attack at age 66, I present to all of you my absolute favorite Monkees episodes.

Before I do, however, let me just mention that Ive LOVED The Monkees ever since the original show began airing on MTV, and at age 27, I NEVER Stopped.

My personal favorite Monkees tune is and always will be Daydream Believer, for no other reason than its unique melody.

And now, here are my favorite Monkees episodes of all time.

I should also point out that in the years since I first saw The Monkees on MTV, Im proud to say I have ALL 58 Episodes on DVD from Rhino Home Video as well as 2 episodes on VHS (Here Come The Monkees & The Picture Frame) also from Rhino Home Video.

Plus, each episode I own of The Monkees is complete, uncut, & unedited.

Reading your list of favorite episodes made me laugh, as I remember scenes from each one of them! :lol: Your list is similar to mine! "The Picture Frame" has me ROTFL, no matter how many times I see it, especially this part:

As Peter said, "Probably one of those method actors!"

I love the Monkees. I discovered them in 1992 thanks to my sister leaving an episode on. She was hooked right away, but it took me a few more viewings. I was doing homework & she was watching the show. The ep with the Monkees on anisland looking for treasure.

Anyway I have been a fan ever since. My fave episodes are:
