Jurassic Park 3D is Coming Your Way in 2013

Universal has announced that Jurassic Park 3D is opening in theaters July 19, 2013 to celebrate the film's 20th anniversary. That means work will begin on post-converting the dino epic - or perhaps that work has already started.

The Steven Spielberg directed film - starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum - opened in theaters June 11, 1993.

An adaptation of Michael Crichton's novel, it went on to gross $357 million domestic and nearly $1 billion worldwide.

I went to the movies to see Jurassic Park twenty times as a child, a record never to be rivaled. I am looking forward to going back to the theater to watch the movie in 3D to celebrate its 20th anniversary! :)
