Asked about a new version of “The Flintstones” he’s producing, he says it won’t be as daring as “Family Guy.” “What we’re really shooting for in the level of humor is kind of mid-nineties ‘Simpsons.’ You’re not going to see abortion jokes.”

That's great to hear. I know Seth MacFarlane is capable of PG-rated humor. I still have high hopes for this reboot.

I just hope this reboot won't be something that makes Messers Hanna and Barbera role over in their graves! I hope Seth MacFarlane treats their creation with the respect it deserves.

No offense to Hanna or Barbera, but I don't think Seth MacFarlane's reboot could be any worse than any of their own Flintstones reincarnations.

I still have a bad feeling about this.

I do too...I may have one Pilot Episode of my TV Show be opened to a TV-PG Show if possible...only if ABC Family/Touchstone buys the Pilot or I get the permission of Jim Davis of "Garfield" fame that I can use a character on my show if it goes on FOX...and yes, not only he'll get his share but he can help-out since he created a character or two or three for the show.
And...I'll be watching!
