They just traded the farm to the Rams for the #2 draft pick and will take RG3. They swap #1's and have to give up a #2 and their #1 pick in the draft the next 2 years. That's an awful lot but I understand why they did it. If he turns out to be good then they are set for the next decade and if he isn't, they aren't any worse then they are right now.

RG3 was great in college, but I am not sure he is worth what they gave up to get that slot.

Yea I'm not sure either. When I first heard about it, I was laughing that Snyder overpaid for someone again. lol Then I started to think. What do they really have to lose? They've been stuck in mediocrity for years because they don't have a franchise QB. If he's a bust then nothing's going to change. Snyder's never done anything in the draft anyway. If he turns out to be anything though, The Redskins can be contenders. I think the Rams will probably make out very well because of this trade. Jeff Fisher walked into a gold mine. lol

Oh I absolutely agree, the Rams are set with this trade. As for the Redskins, let's hope RG3 turns out to be Jamarcus Russell 2! LOL
