I don't think I 've ever seen this ep that is on Antenna right now, I am laughing up a storm. Ms. Cathcart comes singing (shrieking) into the middle of Mr. Wilson's niece's (Elinor Donahue) wedding rehearsal. Hilarious stuff.

Definitely one of my top five episodes. The ending is classic with everybody running down the street. Mrs. Elkins' face was hilarious.
Did anyone else ever catch what could be considered a blooper? Mr. Wilson says of Georgianna "we're the only family she has left." He repeatedly refers to her as "my niece," but it is possible that Elinor Donahue's character is, in fact, biologically related to Martha. Mr. Wilson has at least two sisters who appeared in the first season, discounting that the John Wilson character hadn't been thought of then. Mrs. Wilson did have a sick sister, Edna, in the first season. Georgianna could conceivably be her daughter.

Schmave,
Wow..... That is some good mental detective work.... Never caught that...
Loved that when Ms. Cathcart comes in singing.... Retro Vic, She also comes in singing after the record breaks to scare the birds away in season 1 "Dennis and the Starlings" She breaks a mirror and Mr. Wilsons glasses and has a future assignment creating a recording of her song to scare the birds away... Also I believe in season 2 "Dennis the campaign manager" She comes in singing as a surprise while the Television crew is doing a live feed from Mr. Wilsons house and shatters the television camera lens..... Too funny and still laugh when she sings.....

Honestly, I didn't give it much thought until I saw the episode recently. Seeing the San Diego episode a few days back with the Wilsons' nephew (which isn't as easy to explain away!) jogged my memory.
I wish they'd have used Mary Wickes more. I think she was only in something like 12 episodes.

I loved that episode with Elinor Donahue.
Too bad her character and the husband never returned for another visit.
