on I've Got a Secret on October 24, 1966:

At 4:12, they refer to Lucy in London as the special "coming up on CBS," as if it's a future event. However, Lucy in London aired on October 24, 1966 (in color) from 8:30 to 9:30 PM. This I've Got a Secret supposedly aired at 10:30 PM that same night after Lucy in London:

So I'm confused by Steve Allen referring to the special as something coming up at a later date.

Perhaps the taped episode aired later than planned? At any rate I've Got A Secret was also in color by this time, it's just this kinescope copy of it that's black & white.

That's certainly a possibility. I thought of another possibility: perhaps the schedule was rearranged that night and I've Got a Secret aired earlier in the evening, before Lucy's special. But then I found this:

If you scroll over to the right, you can see I've Got a Secret was scheduled to air at 10:30 PM that night, as usual. So Lucy was on there promoting a show that had already aired!
