the good: Adam-12 and Dragnet being expanded weekdays
WKRP replacing inferior shows Sunday nights
Bachelor Father in primetime Friday nights
Too Close for Comfort weeknights
Alfred Hitchcock Presents moving an hour earlier
Leave it to Beaver leading into The Partridge Family on Sundays

the bad: Bachelor Father losing its weekdays slot, I would have rather seen McHale's Navy go.
Gidget losing its Sunday airings
Mad About You still on hiatus

Are the Saturday listings correct? Antenna's Facebook post showed Adam-12 at 5, Dragnet at 6, and S.W.A.T at 7.

I guess that schedule is ok. I wish Bachelor Father and Father Knows Best was still at there regular times. They could get rid of Dennis the Meance as that kid is so annoying and McHale's Navy could go too.

I'll check with them, but the schedule they gave out earlier this week to me was what I posted from 5-8pm on Saturdays.

I was sorry to see Bachelor Father only getting 4 airings instead of 10 per week. I am burning to disc and I have missed some eps due to equipment mishaps. It will take a longer time before the ones I am missing come around again now.

I was going to start watching FNB, but it's airings are reduced greatly also. There are only so many hours in the day and I watch several sitcom hour blocks already daily, as it is on AT.

It's to bad that there is only one new show. Still I watch AT more than any other network now.

I'm glad to see Too Close for Comfort on more. That will help it move faster. I'm going to give WKRP a try since I've never seen it before, but I'll probably like it. I'm going to try to watch Dennis the Menace on Fridays since I haven't really had time to see much of it. I'm disappointed too there aren't more shows. Maybe more will come in August/September, and for sure more will come in January when some contracts expire.

Although I'm disappointed to see Bachelor Father and Father Knows best with reduced airings, I'm glad that they are not off the schedule. I can still work with the airings. I just started DVRing some of the episodes. Maude got the worst out of all of them being aired at 2am in the morning which is why I'm so glad I've been DVRing the show the past three weeks and plan on putting it on DVD. I really don't care if Married with children and The Nanny have been placed on hiatus. The Nanny airs like six times a day between Nick at Nite and Nick at Nite's TV LAND. Married with children gets at least four airings a day in the early morning on TBS.

I love how Antenna scheduled the Norman Lear family tree of shows togther with parent show All in the family then afterwards it's spinoff Maude then its spinoff Good Times. Although Maude is airing late night/early morning, at least I've got a bunch of eps and it is not on hiatus. Whoever did the programming put a lot of thought into the schedule and I think that its brilliant. I feel like a kid again in the late 80's watching Nick at Nite. My hat is off to the people at Antenna TV.

Not a good slot because at 11pm I watch my local news and 11:30pm I watch Jay Leno. That's why I don't watch Friends at 11pm and watch at 2am on N@N2

I have to say that I'm very pleased with the Spring Schedule. I like the Friday schedule with Leave it Beaver and Dennis the Menace which are two shows I can watch again. I also like how I can sample two new shows back to back on Sunday nights with News Radio and WKRP in Cincinnati which are two workplace comedies:) I also like how Three's company comes on at 12am on a SUNDAY NIGHT!!!!!

Antenna TV...."BOUT TIME!!!! LOL

My only criticisms

1. Good Times/Sanford and Son/All in the Family is still on the schedule

Dude, I could honestly care less about The Nanny and Married...with children. I can watch those on other stations. I'm glad they've been pulled for the time being. I am pleased with the schedule. This is a TV feast for me.

Yes that is a great schedule for Antenna TV and I'm looking forward to it. Antenna TV is the best channel overall for old sitcoms

Thanks for the info. Too bad Here Come the Brides isn't on at a later time. 7 am is so early. At least it will be on when I'm home to see it instead of while I'm gone to church and have to end up taping it to see. So sorry to see Circus Boy on. I agree Nanny and Married With Children are on too many other channels. Glad to see WKRP coming on. Wish my late hubby were here to see it. We enjoyed watching that one together. Now if I can remember the new timeslots at my old age lol. I remember watching Bachelor Father when it was originally on.

I'm also glad to see WKRP in Cincinnati returning since it will never see the light of a proper release on dvd with all the music intact. I've always enjoyed this show. I'm also glad to see Too Close For Comfort getting more airings. This is another show who's dvd releases just died a long time ago.

Now if I can just figure out why MeTV (32.2) in Louisville, Ky thinks I need two hours of flipping news from 7am to 9am instead of my classic tv

I'm news'd out!! God, take me back to the days of a 1/2 hour of local news at 6pm and 11pm, and that's all. I don't even watch news because its all so depressing.

I'm really enjoying the new schedule. Hazel is back on where she belongs in a respectable time and we get an hour of Adam-12 also. It's also good to see TCFC and WKRP on as well. I'm glad they cut back on the movies. I like my classic tv shows.

On a sort of related note, is there any news (or hope) of getting The Ropers on DVD? I always enjoyed that show and felt it got a raw deal by being cancelled.

I doubt we will see an official DVD release of The Ropers or Three's A Crowd, but you can find plenty of bootleg versions on ioffer.com and sell.com . Most of them were recorded from DejaView in Canada and they don't have commercials and they have the uncut opening theme, unlike the shortened themes on Antenna TV.

I have the Ropers complete from Dejaview so i definitely don't need a release on DVD. Most of the episodes of three's a crowd I have are UNCUT from ABC on DVD and VHS. So I would not be in a rush to buy either show on DVD unless it was a rare bonus included

If there is anyone in the Los Angeles area who was wondering if the second hour of WKRP would be shown. (currently they air a repeat of the news during that hour) Here is what they said.

Thank you for your email. We appreciate you watching Antenna TV on KTLA in Los Angeles.

KTLA has been airing a repeat of its news on Sundays at 7-8pm to cover Antenna TV's show "Married With Children" because we are not legally allowed to broadcast that show in the Los Angeles area and Antenna TV did not provide us with alternate programming. Fox Channel 11 still owns the license to broadcast that show.

As of Sunday, 4/8, "Married With Children" will be leaving Antenna TV's lineup so we will no longer have to repeat the news on Sundays. We plan to show WKRP in Cincinnati as scheduled.

Sincerely,
KTLA Programming Department

I agree. I love All in the Family and The Jeffersons, but I wish it could have been on Saturday instead. I could care less about the boring dramas on Saturdays. I hate it that they keep having marathons preempting WKRP. There was Father Knows Best on Father's Day in June, McHale's Navy two weeks ago, and now All in the Family this Sunday. I will still be watching AITF, but I think with all this they should do a WKRP marathon to make up for all the time they lost with these marathons. Maybe they should do one on Thanksgiving Day and air the turkey drop episode then.

I don't think it was too long or unnecessary. I like that they do the super long marathons, although I can certainly understand why others wouldn't. While I'm not a crazy fan of McHale's Navy (could take or leave it) there are probably many Antenna viewers who are. I think it's endearing that Antenna takes the time to honor a key actor of a show it offers. And the guy did live to be 95. Antenna is a class act. You can bet if they had the rights to the Jeffersons they'd give Sherman Helmsley a real send off. Not like that ridiculous 4 hr drop in the bucket TV Crapland is offering. Disgraceful.

I saw that Antenna will do a 3 hr marathon of AITF eps with Sherman in them. Considering they don't have The Jeffersons it's a nice gesture. Almost as much as Crapland which has the entire Jefferson series.

Antenna is THE gold standard. I thought it was so cool of them to air the entire Monkee series when Davy Jones passed. Shows I'd thought I'd never see again, like Bachelor Father, Dennis The Menace and Here Come The Brides - all rolled out. incredible! I've burned 180 DVDs of their shows. LOVE LOVE LOVE them.

The Jeffersons is no longer on the TV Land schedule so maybe they no longer have the rights. The only 70's shows airing on TV land on a daily is Three's Company and MASH
