Ron Perlman Says Hellboy 3 Probably Won't Happen

During a recent press conference for Festival International du Film Fantastique de Gérardmer 2012, Ron Perlman let drop that Hellboy 3 probably isn't ever going to happen.
"With regard to 'Hellboy 3'... if I had to bet I would bet that there will not be a 'Hellboy 3', but I've never given up hope. I feel as though it's too good an idea for the third part of the trilogy to be completely abandoned because it would really answer all of the questions addressed in 1 and 2.
Guillermo said it would be a great shame if we never did it, so if all of you were to write every day that 'Hellboy 3' needs to happen maybe it would be like Dorothy from 'The Wizard of Oz' if we all were to tap our shoes and close our eyes together then Tinker Bell would live."
