Hi everyone, there's finally a section for The Bob Newhart Show on fanfiction.net!!! Why hadn't we thought of it before?

It's not listed just yet because nothing's been published, but I plan on writing something very soon. For now if you would like to submit something the show is on the list of tv shows to choose from in the publishing section. It's listed as Bob Newhart Show, 1972 to differentiate btw Bob's earlier show.

Anyway, I hope to see you over on fanfiction.net and that there's interest in writing for this show because it totally deserves it!!!

That's awesome! I had them add a few shows/movies as well but they sure took their time with it. I'll check the site (since I'm on it all the time anyway!) and look for your story! Looking foreword to reading it!

My story was called "The New Neighbor". There are also two or three x-over stories on there, TBNS with I Dream of Jeannie (the Roger/Howard connection).

I was interested to see if anybody else wanted to participate in this, or at least get a sneak peak at some of the plots I'm working on.

Thanks for reading it. Unfortunately, I haven't much time for writing fanfiction any more (not to mention I am totally out of ideas). I do have one in progress, but it's been IN progress for more than 3 years! So it's not likely to ever get finished.

I just hope that the section catches on. Seems kind of sad that TBNS has like two stories and a show like Glee has the most stories posted on there.

Hey thanks! There's a second story there now too. And hopefully there will be a third and fourth within the next few days. A couple of friends and I are working at really trying to give the section some kind of presence. I completely agree that it's sad that Glee has the most stories posted! That said, we totally appreciate the support, through reviews, you guys adding your own work, whatever! P.S. I also had fanfiction.net add a section for Newhart, there is currently nothing published there but hopefully some stuff coming soon!
