Flint Police investigate suspicious death SHE WAS MURDERED ON Jan 13 2012 FLINT (WJRT) - (01/16/12) - Flint Police continue to investigate a suspicious death reported Friday morning. Police were called to the 1000 block of Van Buskirk Street, around 8:30 a.m., and found 38-year-old Shane Denise Bartels outside of her home. She was pronounced dead a short time later. Police are not yet releasing how she died, but say the original call was about a suicide. An autopsy is scheduled.
