Motörhead Does NOT Want People To Buy The New Box Set

Rock band Motörhead has gone on record saying that a new box set entitled 'Complete Early Years' should NOT be purchased by anyone, even super hardcore fans.

The reason? It costs too much. Like, $600 too much.



The company that put out the box set has the rights to early recordings and is putting out a 15-disc box set in a (admittedly awesome) custom skull box with light up red eyes.

"Unfortunately greed once again rears its yapping head," says frontman Lemmy Kilmister. "I would advise against it even for the most rabid completists!"

The sad thing is that despite the awesome looking (if overpriced) box set, Motorhead is one of those groups that in the U.S. will be known primarily for one song and in their case, it's "The Ace of Spades."
