I set my DVR to record an episode of M*A*S*H and it recorded the last few seconds of the previous episode and it looked like Nurse Kelly was smoking a cigarette and I have no idea if I was seeing things or what the episode was about, so does anyone remember this episode ???

Well I finally caught the episode in question and it was the one where the surgeons had to run Rosie's bar due to her broken ribs which she got from some Greeks and Turks fighting in her bar.

It was the fifties by way of the seventies. Hell, if M*A*S*H had been more realistic, the surgeons probably would have been smoking cigarettes. This was a decade before the Surgeon General's report that cigarettes could cause cancer.

In one episode, Nurse Kellye puffed on a cigar when they were celebrating the birth of Col. Potter's grandchild.

Blake, Potter and Klinger (and occasionally Trapper and Radar) smoked cigars.
