The other day I was watching the five-part Episode of Lassie called The Disappearance.

This Episode Stars out with the Martins going on Vacation. Timmy rents a Rowboat and he uses it to go Fishing with his Dad and the Dawg. They find themselves caught in a Storm while Fishing. The Boat capsizes, throwing all three into the drink. Timmy and his Father swim to shore, but Lassie gets swept away in a currant. She is rescued by a Forest Ranger, who takes her to his cabin. For the next three Episodes Lassie works with the Ranger while he goes on various missions before being returned to Timmy in the last part of the Episode. (This was in fact one of several "Experimental" Episodes that were done to see who would become Lassie's new owner the following season (John Provost, who played Timmy was growing up, and he wanted to move on to other things), the feedback from viewers about this Episode sealed Lassies Fate).

I noticed both an "Easter Egg" and a Blooper in the second part of the Episode. Timmy's Father enlists the aid of a Pilot to search for Lassie, and He and Timmy take to the air to search for their lost pet. An exterior shot is seen of the Plane a High-Winged Cessina. Hey! Does that Plane look familiar? Yup, it's the Plane from the ZIV/Ivan Tors Series Ripcord! This is the "Easter Egg" (Actually Stock Footage). The Blooper is next as the Plane changes shape! A Close-up is seen of Timmy in the Plane using Binoculars to scan the shore of the lake, and it's obvious Timmy is in a LOW-Winged Airplane (Make Unknown).

Have any of you noticed "Easter Eggs" and/or Bloopers in Episodes of your favorate TV Shows? Let's hear from all of you.

Post Away!

PS Too bad they didn't find Lassie with the Plane, if they did they could have had Larry Pennell (Who Starred in Ripcord) jump out to rescue the dawg, Larry would eventually become Lassie's Owner eight years later!  :rotflmao: :brent

I was watching a Get Smart episode last week in which there was a minor blooper with 99's coat (Barbara Feldon). She has a button clearly unbuttoned, but after a very quick cut away with the camera -- way too fast for any reason to think anyone noticed and took action -- suddenly, it's been fixed.

Another blooper was on a Gunsmoke episode, when Lane Bradbury's hairstyle changes back and forth in the same scene.
