I think it was season 26!

Maggie's obsession with the color purple, Bart's new hairdo, Homer stumbles upon an old goldmine, Marge becomes famous as an advice columnist and Lisa becomes a hacker.

Then marge gets drunk and wakes up with pink hair, Homer becomes a loan shark, Bart correctly predicts an earthquake and Maggie starts spelling "dirty" words with her letter blocks. Add in Lisa's new found obsession with old stereo cards, and it is clearly the wildest season yet!

Season 7. "The Simpsons" start with the end of the cliffhanger "Who shot Mr. Burns" and ended with "Summer of 4 ft. 2".

The Season where I gave up on "The Simpsons" was Season 13.

Anything from Season 3 to Season 8 is fantastic, but I'd say my ultimate favorite would have to be Season 4. Marge vs. the Monorail, I Love Lisa, Mr. Plow, Lisa's First Word, Kamp Krusty, Last Exit to Springfield...so many classics.

Seasons 4 and 5 are both top-notch. Season 5 includes my favorite episode, "Homer Goes to College."
