General Hospital's Jen Lilley took to Twitter yesterday to reveal she is staying on as Maxie, and has asked that fans stop being so hateful about her having replaced Kirsten Storms, due to unforseen circumstances. See her tweet below:

I like the current Maxie I've just started watching again.

Sad and pathetic that grown folk are personally attacking an actor for doing her job. This is why a lot of non-soap watchers think soap fans are wack jobs.

I have to agree. This actress has done nothing wrong. She is not a diva or a mean person. She's trying to get paid by working in the field that she loves. The other actress in unable to do it and this actress is pretty good. Leave her alone and enjoy the show. People are so mean. It's just like the time when Jennifer Brandford took over the role of Carly back in 2005. Viewers were so cold and cruel about her looks and everything. We have too much access to things that give us right to form opinions. We need to express in a more mature manner.

Kirsten storms was still in the credits for GH last week when I was watching it at night on Soapnet.When did actresses change and how far back to the soaps on soapnet go.I feel like I'm watching eppys from more than a few years ago.

What's the latest with Kirsten Storms? I thought she was getting ready to return. I Know her best as Belle from DOOL.I remember her on there I know her from the zenon movies too they aired on Disney channel from 1999 to 2001 I believe there were three of them.
