Not save it from cancellation mind you, because it was getting decent ratings, but perhaps save it from being just a long running "mediocre" sitcom? Did syndication make HIMYM into a huge hit for CBS?

Did syndication make HIMYM into a huge hit for CBS? Trying to be an ideal syndicated sitcom KILLED HIMYM in the quality department. The writers tried doing an entire season of standalone episodes in season 5, and they were almost all awful. The show hasn't been the same since despite a good episode here or there... This season though Ryan, has been filled with so many twists and turns. |
