Lorimar Television 02-12-2012, 10:33 PM Pavan? Brian? Pavan 02-13-2012, 02:00 AM We have not gotten the set yet. I hope we do soon. tlc38tlc38 02-17-2012, 04:06 PM The thing that surprised me the most about this set is the HORRIBLE "homemade looking" menus. It looks like a standard computer DVD menu program was used for this. It's a shame that the TV on DVD format is quickly going down the hole in favor of online streaming. Everyone better buy up all they can now because it'll all be online soon and you'll be forced to watch everything on a computer....not me, I'll just watch my dvds and blurays. robyrob 02-17-2012, 06:09 PM that streaming thing won't last either - the next big thing is they are going to shoot the movie directly into your brain with a laser. The good news is that it downloads instantly, the bad news is that it will probably kill you, but that is the price of technology. Forced to watch on a computer? Uhm, I have multiple devices in my home that stream Netflix, Hulu, etc. to my TV's. Hell, my Blu-ray player is one of them! I never stream anything but YouTube to my computer.. tlc38tlc38 03-01-2012, 11:03 AM Forced to watch on a computer? Uhm, I have multiple devices in my home that stream Netflix, Hulu, etc. to my TV's. If you haven't already watched WALL-E, watch it...that's where we are headed and it's scary. Lorimar Television 03-04-2012, 02:35 AM So is there any chance that Sitcoms Online will be reviewing it? Do they have to send it to you, or could you buy it on your own and then review it? Pavan 03-04-2012, 04:44 PM They never sent it to us. We usually get everything. I did buy it, so I will do a review soon. Lorimar Television 03-05-2012, 12:22 AM Great! Thanks Pavan! Lorimar Television 03-09-2012, 03:40 PM Will the review be up soon? :) Pavan 03-18-2012, 06:39 PM It is up: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/familymattersseason2dvdreview.html TVFactFan 03-19-2012, 02:31 AM Well I'm glad I have no intentions on buying season 2-lol I don't plan to buy the show on DVD until season 3 since that is when the show took off IMO. |
