Okay, so there's this website where they pit people or TV shows against each other. If you want to see it to get a feel for it, go to http://www.grudge-match.com

Anyway, imagine a Lucy one. Lucille Ball vs. _____

or ILL vs. _____

You get the idea, now fill in the blank!

I finally figured one out.

Lucille vs. Carol Burnett- which redhead makes America laugh harder?

That's a tough one, but my prediction would be Lucy.

My pick is definitely Lucille Ball! Lucille Ball was and is "The Queen of Comedy", therefore that makes Carol Burnett "The Princess of Comedy". Also Lucille Ball was the original one of the two.

On Tuesday or Wednesday (one of those days) A&E had a special biography entitled "The Top 15 Comedians of All-Time". A lot of people over the country voted for the comedian that they thought was the best one. Well, guess who won the #1 spot?

Here is an interesting grudge match: Mary Tyler Moore vs. Lucille Ball. Who do you think would win?

I saw the last half of that! Carol was 6th? Maybe 5th. But yep, Lucy was #1!

 I went to Biography.com last week and voted for Lucy 30 times! :D She was winning then with 65% of the votes.

Hmm. It depends on what they're grudging over (okay, grudging isn't a word ;) )

In comedy, Lucy hands down. Problem with that is, Mary wasn't the physical comedianne Lucy was, so that makes it hard to compare.

In dramatic acting, well, I really haven't seen Mary in enough stuff to be a good judge.

 Way to go Mel! You sound like me with that grudge match between Richard Dawson and Bob Barker. I've voted like 30 times too!

Yup! Carol Burnett ranked in at #6, and of course, Lucille Ball ranked #1. Jackie Gleason was #2. Go Lucy!

:D Hee hee hee.....I couldn't resist. Lucy rocks!!!! I mean, when I see a poll with Lucy in it, and two minutes later the number of votes for Lucy goes up by 30 or 40, you know that I've been there!

I agree, Lucy does rock. She is my favorite actress of All-Time. When the announcer of the biography siad Lucy was #1 my face lite up and I was grinning ear to ear. :D I was so glad she got #1 because it is truly her spot that rightfully belongs to her.
