"Batman" (Replaced "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet")
Holy subterfuge, Batman. Yes, Gotham's favorite caped crusader may have swooped in and rescued ABC's ratings in 1966, but it came at a cost. "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet," which had up till then been running for ... more nearly 15 years, was forced to change days and time slots to accommodate the campy, Adam West-starring "Batman" series, and shut down production almost immediately thereafter. The Nelson family got some measure of redemption, though. Despite a hugely successful opening season, "Batman" itself -- though still played in syndication and beloved as a cult classic -- went off the air just a few years later.
