I was wondering, was there ever an episode that featured all the primary characters? The MTM Show had a lot of character transitions through the years -- Rhoda, Phyllis and Gordy were around in the early years, but were eventually phased out when the actors moved on to their own series; Sue Ann and Georgette were not around at the beginning but were added later on -- but was there ever an episode featuring all of them? If so, I imagine it would have happened in the fourth season as Sue Ann and Georgette had joined the show by that point, and Rhoda, Phyllis and Gordy were still around. I was watching "Happy Birthday, Lou!" the other day, thinking it might happen in that episode. Rhoda and Gordy were there, and so was Sue Ann. Even Edie showed up in a scene. So you might think in the party scene at Mary's apartment, Phyllis and Georgette would appear, but they didn't. Was there ever an episode where everybody was present?

Great question! I think the answer is no, but I am not 100% certain on that.

I think you're right. That episode about Lou's birthday, I thought at least Georgette would be there. After all, Ted was one of the party guests, and he was already dating her. So it's a little strange he would show up without her. And how could Phyllis resist a party in her building, even if she wasn't invited???
It would have been cool to have at least one episode with all the series cast members present.

I agree, the only realistic chance of a full cast get together might have been the finale, but even then would be stretching things because Rhoda already moved to NY, Phyllis to San Francisco and Gordy was in L.A.

Rhoda and Phyllis each did make it back to Minneapolis for the finale to vie for who'd get to support Mary while she was in the process of losing her job- despite the fact that both characters had little if any liquid assets to spare!
I think Gordy would have had better times if he could have come back to Minneapolis for the finale!
