This is just something to think about, and I don't know if the rumor is true or not but I've read it all over google and a thought came to my mind.

So the rumor about this show is that it ended partly because John Stamos wouldn't sign on for a season 9. If the show had went on without John around for season 9, do you think she show could of had another good season?

I don't know if it could have, but I certainly wish it had!

The trouble is, they might have had to kill him off, how else would they write him out of the script without getting rid of Becky and the boys too?

It would not have been wise for John to have been written off. He was a key element. Just like Bob was an element. If Bob was gone, that would have messed up so many logistics considering his character was the tree with all the different branches of family that link back to him.

I could see them doing something where Jesse's band got a big break that requires Jesse to tour around but Becky wants to keep her job after recently being promoted in season 8 and keeping the twins in one place so they stay at home while Jesse tours. Or they could of just wrote them off too.

I'm sure it'd feel like somethings missing with Jesse gone but it became more about Michelle and Stephanie towards the end anyway so I wouldn't of minded a season without Jesse.

I think it might have been able to survive without him but he was one of the main draws of the show which essentially was about three men raising three little girls (or as the promos said "Three little girls raising three grown men"). As was stated before they would have had to find a way to write out Becky and the boys as well. Or I guess they could have had Jessie become really successful and have them all move away and then he came back for visits. That would have made for a really touching episode, IMO. But in all honesty, I think they ended it at a good time; DJ graduating from high school (or being a senior rather-I think it ended with her going to the prom), and Michelle still being young. It would have gotten old had they let it go on for much longer.

Definitely agree with this.
