...who, without meaning to, was an influence on your life?

Yep, the former store manager at the last place I worked at. :) And vice versa, too. She gave off a very personable vibe the first time we were introduced to each other. So I thought, "OK, I'd like to try to find a bit of time daily to chat to her." Which is just what I did - then our friendship took off from there. It was so cool how it worked out like that. :)

for me' it's my physical therapist (if you've read my other posts you know that regular exercise is a MUST for me) I was feeling down about my life, and one day she and I were talking about how I need to get out more, meet new people, etc. so I did and now I feel so much better!:)


sadly though, I'm gonna have to leave this place and her in a few weeks and go to another place for p.t. because of medicare)

I have met many who have had profound impacts on me, and on my life. Oftentimes inspiration for me comes from the most unlikely places. About a month ago I was out at about midnight, and met a man named Mike. He was a homeless alcoholic and drug addict originally from Brooklyn who recently made his way westward. Him and I talked for a few hours, said I reminded him of some of the peeps in his old neighborhood back in New York. We exchanged numbers, and he asked me if Id be his sponsor, since I conquered drug addiction. Also asked me if I'd go to church with him the next morning. Found out that before the drugs and alcohol got hold of him, he was an accomplished blues musician who played with many of the greats. Pulled out his harmonica and played for me, and at that moment I realized I had met someone special. Gave him a hug, and we both went on our way. I want to call him soon and hang out. He was one of many amazing people I have met in my life's journey.

Yes the people I met a few months ago have changed my life in a major way,its where I met my crush and best friends!!!!

My crush has helped me in ways I didnt think possible and the whiole family is just wonderful/goregous people who I love all of them like crazy.....
