On the show his was 45 to 55. Louise Jefferson's age was never revealed on the show.

You'll also notice some gray in Sherman's hair, which I think was dyed in to make him look a bit older. He was barely a decade older than his screen kids (Mike Evans, Damon Evans, and Anna Maria Horsford from Amen)!
