View Full Version : Brian, SKip Bayless on ESPN summarized the personaliity of your boy Eli Manning-LOL
TVFactFan 01-31-2012, 02:55 PM "He is not a leader, he is robotic and shows no emotion and he probably doesn't know who he is most of the time. He is a rain man type of character."

LOL
Skip is so wrong LOL
Brian Damage 02-01-2012, 12:45 AM Skip says things just to get a reaction. Eli is the man! I could care less if he is "robotic," but to say he is not a leader is asinine.

When he said that Steven A Smith said....."OMG you so disrespectful" LOL

I still can't believe he said Eli doesn't know who he is most of the time-LOL
Now that was just WRONG

I don't even know what that really means. Eli knows who he is. He's Eli Manning, not the most charismatic person in the world, but somebody who I would trust with 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

he basically was trying to say that eli is "austistic" but couldn't say it like that on the air

Brad Russ 02-04-2012, 05:10 AM I like Eli. Since when is having a great personality a qualification for being a football player? They said the same thing about his brother, and so to shut the critics up, he hosted SNL, and it ended up being one of the funniest I've ever seen. I like Eli far more then that Justin Bieber lookalike, Tom Brady.

You don't need a personality to be QB but Skip was saying he doesn't have the qualifications to be a LEADER since he comes off as a GOOF

The Giants are doing just fine with Eli looking like a "Goof"

He has learned how to play the QB position based what I seen of him in the past 4 years but I would not call him a leader. A good QB who has learned that you need to be mobile when push comes to shove but not really a leader.

What do you consider a "leader?"

Someone who doesn't let a INT affect his confidence level

Solomon, that 1st game against the Packers Eli threw a pick 6 to Clay Mathews and STILL drove his team down the field in the late seconds of the 4th quarter, so honestly I do not know where you are coming from.

I'm talking about right after the INT. The difference between him and Brady is when Brady throws a INT he looks PISSED and can't wait to get back out there. When Eli throws a INT he walks with his head hanging to the ground and instead of looking pissed he has the "I"M SORRY" look. Once he changes that about himself then he will look more like a leader
Brian Damage 02-04-2012, 07:29 PM Who cares how he looks??? Eli is a leader and if and I say IF he wins tomorrow, we should talk about Eli Manning in the Hall of Fame!

He will be on the right track to the HOF if he wins tomorrow. But if he misses the playoffs the next 3 years again like he did after the 2007 SB then it maybe up for debate
