Hello,

I am looking for the case where a man escapes custody and gets on the bus which is about to leave. An officer comes on the bus but apparently wasn't aware the escaped convict was on there. The convict freaks out and runs off the bus and is soon caught thereafter.

I believe this same convict later on is trying to dig in his cell and surveillance cameras easily catch him from down the hall.

Does this case ring a bell to anyone? I've watched all the segments from Unsolved Mysteries over the last year or so (my favorite TV show) and have not run across this case.

I believe the convict had an accomplice too?

Perfect. Thanks!

Just wondering: how do people here generally remember the names of cases? If I see a segment a few times, I generally remember the names well.

Does anyone else here write down the names of cases and research them later?

Well the thing you have to remember is a lot of us started watching this show during it's original run and then it was syndicated heavily on Lifetime for over a decade. Therefore many of us know most of the major cases by heart and I wouldn't be surprised if there are members of this forum who could probably recite "the script" to certain segments in you asked them to.

Yeah I've been watching the show maybe 12 years and can definitely remember some scripts pretty well. What a great show. Kind of sad I was too young in the early 90s to watch the show back then.
