I found out on Amazon that CBS is releasing a new DVD called the best of happy days, containing one disc with eight episodes that were voted the best by fans. Does anybody know what those 8 episodes are?

I'd rather get more season sets than even think of supporting any stupid "Best Of" sets, but they are probably going to look at its sales to determine the future of HD on TV

Actually, the full Shotgun Wedding episode is going to be on the Season 5 DVD of Laverne & Shirley coming April 10. The 'Happy Days' portion is added as a special bonus.

Ok well if both Mork episodes are on the DVD i will get it

Amazon.ca includes Scott Baio in the credits. This hopefully means we'll get at least a couple of yet to be released episodes in the set.

My favorite episode was always the Season 10 show with Tom Hanks. He comes back looking for revenge because Fonz pushed him off a swing in the 3rd grade. It was a pretty funny episode.

I think it would be nice if the series finale was on it. It'll probably be a while before season 11 makes it to DVD.

i dont want to rain on anyones parade but im not so confident of releases like this whos to say that these may be some of the episodes we already have i hope not but i dont trust these types of releases.id love to see WELCOME HOME PT 1 AND 2 from season 11 on this set but i doubt it.

You may have just pointed out the only think about this DVD to market. But it would be wise to wait for the SitcomsOnline Review to confirm if they are edited

i agree its pointless this release is pointless and really upseting for those of us waiting for the rest of the series

Did they have to rebuy the music rights for these episodes. If they did, that's a complete waste since we already own these episodes. They should focus on season 5.

Maybe it's because they re-photoshopped it but I thought Richie looks weird. I didn't even think of it as Fonzie having that windbreaker. The photo just looks weird all around.

I don't want seasons 1 and 2 so I guess the DVD is for someone like me

The episodes appear to be exactly the same as the individual season releases. The two season one and three season three episodes appear to be unedited and have the original music. The two season two episodes do not have "Rock Around the Clock" and have the same instrumental music substitutions.
