View Full Version : This is beyond Disgusting!
Regulus 01-27-2012, 10:11 AM I have just found out that this coming Monday (January 30) on NBC's Frar Factor Contestants will be required to drink :barf: Donkey URINE AND SEMEN! :puke: Bear in mind this will be aired between the hours of 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM which means CHILDREN WILL BE WATCHING!
I cannot believe we have allowed TV Programming to stoop to this level. I have contacted the Parent's Television Council and have also asked My Local NBC Station NOT to show this episode. If that fails I will find out who advertises on this show and refuse to purchase their products. We need Family-Friendly Programming during the early evening, and this kind of programming does NOT fit this category.
robyrob 01-27-2012, 10:30 AM my first thought when I heard that NBC was bringing back Fear Factor was that they must be getting REALLY desperate now...
Regulus 01-27-2012, 05:00 PM Update: I have managed to contact the Parent's Television Council and they are  ALARMED:eek: at the news of this travesty. I expect them to begin their E-Mail Campaign to alert members to contact their Stations, NBC and the FCC to persuade NBC Not to air this episode, and/or urge Sponsors to withdraw their Advertising from this Show.:angryfire
I Say
GIVE EM H:devil:LL!!!
duckie 01-27-2012, 07:02 PM That would be totally sick to watch, i think i would probably throw up. I cant believe they would ask their contestants to do it.
dakert 01-28-2012, 12:59 AM Considering some of the gross things/concoctions the Fear Factor people had to eat or drink in past episodes, urine and semen doesnt sound too bad
I dont watch the show so it doesnt matter what they do!!!

I would not tell folks at a TV station not to show a particular program I do not like and I would not report the program to the Parent's Television Council. I would simply not watch and possibly encourage others not to watch too.
Not purchasing products from advertisers would give them the idea that not everyone supports the program they support. That would be a good idea for folks who do not have electronic devices and diaries from the Nielsen Company.
Do not worry about children, as they are many things on television (see news programs, for example) and life in general just as unpleasant. If their parents object to some of the unpleasantries and the children who happened to be watching do not understand, the parents should just discuss the issue with them and remind that not all is right in the world.
Regulus 01-30-2012, 08:39 AM UPDATE:
NBC has decided NOT to air this Episode tonight.
I am all for freedom as well, but this episode promoted Beastiality, which is why I opposed its airing. Haven't we had enough Morel Degradation? omg:

Not if the parents actually pay attention to what their children watch, it's the parents responsibility on what their children watch or not, not just the TV station's.

I heard that! Of course, it begs the question, why did NBC even CONSIDER that? And why doesn't the FCC intimidate NBC into caving, perhaps by threatening to fine the network 50% of its value?
robyrob 01-30-2012, 03:58 PM don't get me wrong - I think Fear Factor is a horrible show and shouldn't even be on the air (I don't think it is right to degrade people like that for "entertainment purposes"), buy why is it "Morel Degradation" instead of moral degradation?
...and I'm pretty sure that if they fined NBC for 50% of its value, the new owners would be able to proove that the network is worth less than nothing and we'd end up having to pay THEM money.

 I HATE it when I pick the wrong one! :o
I'm glad they're not airing it. This sounds like bad taste for bad taste's sake.
