Hands down "Mama's Baby, Papa's Maybe." Stellar performances from Redd, Demond and Lawanda and a perfect blend of bellylaughs, poignancy and love. I laugh and cry one every time I see it.

"Pops N Pals" and "The Merger" - which are both Julio episodes. :eyes: I also like the one where Fred, Lamont and Rollo are busted for supposedly making a porno and Aunt Esther has to bail them out of the clink. :rofl:

That ep was really funny! :D ;)

I love the episode when Fred tries to sell his Blind Mellow Jelly records to the library. When he realizes that it's just a donation, he gets Bubba to pretend he's Blind Mellow Jelly's son.
At the library, Bubba keeps repeating: "I want my daddy's records back!" :lol:

"A Matter of Life and Breath" deserves mention. That ep is hysterical, especially when Fred comes out of the kitchen with the mask on and Lamont's untensils marked "C" for Contaminated. :lol: :lol: :crazy:

One of them is A Little Extra Security. Grady receives 3 government checks. Otis called him a thief. When the phone rings, Grady yells out "Uh! Oh! Somebody hit the jackpot!!!!" after the trip to Las Vegas. Classic.

I like the episode where Fred's Tv gets stolen and he looks to buy a new one. He ends up taking Grady's Tv. Then he sold Grady's Tv and Grady comes back with the cops to get his Tv back.

I don't know the name of the episode or even remember the plot, but I do remember one of the funniest scenes in TV history.

Fred hears a noise at night and goes outside his front door. He yells, "Who is that?"

An off-screen threatening voice comes back, "You don't know, and you don't want to know."

Fred yells back, "I ain't afraid of you!"

Fred again says, "Who is that?"

From off-screen a gun comes into the picture pointed at Fred's head. The voice again says, "You don't know, and you don't want to know."

Fred turns, runs into the house, closes the door behind him, runs across the living room, opens the closet door, gets in the closet, closes the closet door behind him and from inside the closet yells, "I ain't afraid of you!"

One of my favorite episodes is when Lamont takes Fred out for Fred's birthday. Fred isn't too impressed with Chinese food! 'It smells' he keeps saying. That truly fractures me!

I'd have to say my favorite episodes are The Copper Caper, The Shootout, Fred's Treasure Garden, and Have Gun Will Sell. It's so hard to choose just one favorite.
