I can't remember the girls name, but I think she was from San diego calif, or near there, maybe Carlsbad. She was a high school riding on the back of a motorcycle with her boyfriend one day when some punks in a pickup drove up from behind them and smacked the girl in the back of the head with a 2x4. She almost died, but they revived her, however she has brain damage and will never be the same again. The police questioned her BF but didn't get anywhere with him. They think he was lying to them and knew allot more about the guys that hit her, then he was leading on. I think the police even suggested that these guys were connected and that's why her BF wouldn't talk for fear of them killing him. Did they ever catch the guys that did it to her?

That's the Jennifer Pratt case. They have never caught the guys responsible for attacking her. Her boyfriend at the time, Curtis, might've been the intended target possibly because of drug deals he was in and has faced scrutiny for not naming the guys they think attacked them.

I think the problem with the BF was that the police questioned him and he knew they could only go so far, but, and I hate to say this, sometimes people will go outside the law to get answers. If the family had hired a professional to scare the living hell out of the BF, I bet he would have talked.

FYI, They also did an update with RS doing a live interview of Jenny & her parents on the 3rd Anniversary Special. However, it wasn't much of an update, no real new info. Also, Jenny Pratt's mother did not come off well during the interview in my opinion. Very angry, but I'd say very understandable considering the circumstances.
