While I hate to get my hopes up, I also love the fact that most of these rumored dates on TLS and HL releases have turned out to be true. Even with some dates pushed back futher than the original report, these rumors have always resulted in the "official word" coming out!

That's good news if this series will soon be complete on DVD. I prefer seasons 1-4, but 5 & 6 have some funny moments also.

Ken Ross at CBS' secretary told one of the regulars on the Lucy Lounge forum this, when he inquired about season 6. Sounds pretty credible!!!:)

I knew it was too good to be true. I hope we get the final season of Here's Lucy in the summer at least.

That does suck. I'm really wanting Season 6 because IMHO it is a vast improvement over Season 4 and 5. There are some really hilarious episodes in Season 6.

One of my fave episodes "Lucy and Joan Crawford" is in season 6--I would love to see it at last in pristine quality.

Crawford is great in that episode. The best part is when she first appears to thunderous applause, and the expression on her face looks so grateful to be receiving that applause.

One of my favorites from this season is "Lucy Meets The Berles". The scene at the end when Milton Berle gets the salad "tossed" over his head is hysterical. He really milks this for every laugh possible and you can see Ruta Lee trying hard not to break up. If ever it looked like a cast was having a great time filming an episode, this was it!

^ I love that one as well--it's my fave Lucy and Milton appearance together.

Also, one last Vivian Vance episode!! Worth noting, this, and the episode Viv Visits Lucy are the only shows which features Viv by Lucy's side yet to be released, since all Viv's later appearances on Here's Lucy and the Lucy Calls The President Special are out.

^I think you meant the episode where Viv visits Lucy w/ a broken leg and she breaks her leg as well and they reminisce.

"Viv Visits Lucy" is from Season 5, so it has already been released. "Lucy and Viv Reminisce" and "Lucy & Joan Crawford" are from Season 6.

Actually, the Lucy and Joan Crawford episode, (which includes Viv), is titled Lucy & the Lost Star.
