Charlie Sheen, who is making the rounds at the NATPE conference to talk up his upcoming FX sitcom “Anger Management,” tells The Hollywood Reporter that if he ran into "Two and a Half Men" executive producer Chuck Lorre on the street, "I'd give him a hug."
Sheen appeared at an invitation-only event on the first day of NATPE, where he looked "clean, healthy and sober," the story notes.
Asked why he would give a hug to Lorre, with whom he publicly battled last year, Sheen responded, "Because for a long time he created something that basically brought me up from the ashes and gave me a f---in’ dream life that only existed in a fantasy. Chuck did that. Chuck did that. That’s why I was so f---in’ offended when he didn’t have my back on the end of it. Because what we accomplished together was epic, you know. He did it his way, I did it my way and somehow it worked. But I would hug him for that and just forget about the rest."

Sheen and Lorre call a truce. This current season with Aston Kutchner is determined to be "a dream" that Alan was having. Sheen returns to Two and a Half Men with Boffo Ratings. Even more money is made by all. You Heard It Here FIRST, Folks!

Interesting take, but Charlie Sheen has a new show coming to FX in the summer I believe.

I like the current season of the show. Ashton is doing great. I'm glad that Mr. Sheen is doing better. His new show will be coming out soon as Brian Damage stated. I will check that out as well.

Charlie Sheen is not one to go quietly into the good night. And a year after his famed meltdown that resulted in his ousting from the hit CBS comedy "Two and a Half Men," the actor has more than a few opinions about his old show, its producers and when it should end.
"I don't think it should go on past this year," Sheen said at a NATPE press conference, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "I just think that people are there because there's nowhere else to go."
Sheen believes the Ashton Kutcher version of the series, which is actually drawing ratings comparable to what they were a year ago, has lost its edge. For this, he blames Chuck Lorre's overall success.
"I don't think that [Kutcher is] working with the best writing because [Lorre is] doing too many shows. He and Jon [Cryer] and Angus [T. Jones] deserve better material," Sheen adds.
Sheen says he understands Kutcher's situation. He was in a somewhat similar position when he took over for Michael J. Fox on "Spin City," albeit under drastically different circumstances.
"I've done what he's done. ... It's so f------ hard, you can't believe it," he says. "It's all your thinking about and you're surrounded by these ghosts."
But as Sheen embarks on his new project, a sitcom based on the movie "Anger Management," he is pleased to be out from under "Two and a Half Men" producers Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn.
"They're doing their thing and I'm free from their bondage," he says.

Just because he is grateful to Chuck Lorre now doesn't mean that he will be easily forgiven. He said a lot of terrible things that he could never take back and I am sure that for those reason that Chuck Lorre will probably always habor some resentment towards the actor, even if they do somehow and make amends with each other.
