The pop star is set to re-release the hit CD under the new title 'Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.'
'Teenage Dream' has already yielded Katy five No.1s and countless awards and new records since its August 2010 release.
Now, as speculated in the past months, Katy has been making trips back to the studio to revamp her Grammy-nominated record and polish off some unreleased songs that never made it on the original CD.
While the final track listing has yet to be announced, producer Tricky Stewart discussed the details of one of the unreleased songs set to makes its debut on the re-release.
"This song is really special. It's called 'Dressing Up,' so it's going to be a big record, I think," Tricky revealed.
"It definitely fits. It's right there in what her sensibilities are as a musician and a songwriter. She doesn't change much. She has a very keen musical taste. It'll be really good," the producer shared.
Tricky goes on to explain that Katy just cooked up too much goodness in the studio for every track to make the original final cut, but it would be a shame to let all that good music go to waste.
"We always knew that the records we created were special and at the time it was more contractual obligation. I can only have so many songs produced by me on the record. She didn't need to have extra songs at the same time," he revealed.
Katy will drop the super sweet 'Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection' on March 13.
