Keck's Exclusives: "Up All Night" Casts "Nurse Jackie" Fave and Gay Neighbors
Jan 23, 2012
by William Keck
Complications are coming up for Christina Applegate's Reagan Brinkley both at work and home on NBC's "Up All Night".
Actress Eve Best, who steals every scene she's in as "Nurse Jackie's" Dr. Eleanor O'Hara, has landed a role equivalent to Alec Baldwin's bossy character on "30 Rock". Eve will play a corporate mogul named Yvonne Encanto who takes ownership of The Ava Show, where Reagan works.
Yvonne also just happens to be Reagan's idol.
As her first order of business, Yvonne instates her lieutenant, Luke (Rescue Me's Steven Pasquale) as the show's day-to-day, hands-on boss, whose hands might just end up on Ava (Maya Rudolph).
And on the home front, Reagan and husband Chris (Will Arnett) are about to get some gay neighbors.
Playing the part of the Brinkley's new best friends are actors Nat Faxon (co-writer of The Descendants and a voice actor on "The Cleveland Show") and Ben Falcone (husband of "Mike & Molly's" Melissa McCarthy).
All will go swimmingly with the new besties until a certain deal-breaker rocks the boat.
