I don't watch Laverne and Shirley a whole lot to know everything about every charchter, but I heard someone mention that Lenny and Squiggy were in High School, I'm finding out a lot more lately that these people who were just about 30 in real life played kids on TV. Does anyone know how long they were in High School, and what season they graduated?

As far as i remember from watching the reruns which are in heavy rotation on TV Land, it might have been mentioned somewhere that the boys went to high school with Laverne and Shirley, but the characters were all supposed to be in their mid to late twenties at the start of the series.

I'm guessing.. since they weren't all too bright... that they were in high school for MORE than four years. I know Laverne & Shirley graduated in 1956 at Fillmore High. So, I'm guessing that's supposed to Lenny and Squiggy's graduating year, too. They weren't at the 10 year reunion from the Cal. episodes, so i think I'm right.

At the start of the series, they were 21.

(Episode #4, Laverne said they've had four reunions in the three years since they graduated.)

That is right, Laverne, Shirley, Carmine, Lenny and Squiggy
all graduated from Fillmore High School in 1956.

Two other members of the famous Fillmore Class of 1956 were
Eraserhead and Big Rosie.

btw:Didn't Alex,Skippy and Mallory also attend a Fillmore High
on Family Ties?

Well all I can say about it is.............. They looked old to be in High School. Especially Squiggy who was losing his hair on the show. Yeah right!!! He's suppose to be only 17 or 18........... :happyface :lol: :happyface :lol: :happyface :happyface

Actually, they were already out of High School when the show started, someone said they were at least 21. early 20's sounds about right. Shirley wanted a reunion every year. Infact, she wanted one 6 weeks after they graduated I think. lol...

Yes, they all graduated from Millard Filmore High School c/o '56! :)

Lenny and Squiggy couldn't make it to the reunion! :( But they made up all those lies about Laverne and Shirley being famous and marrying Marlon Brando(Laverne) and Paul Newman(Shirley)!

It was so weird, We were at church at my brother's wedding.
and Squiggy couldn't get his tux straight and was fidgety and I was complaining about my dress. The bride got fed up and called off the wedding. Squig disappeared and I couldn't find my way out of the building. I still can't get that stupid dream out of my head. :rotflmao: I don't know how he got into a family function

That was soooo funny! I've had a Squiggy dream once!!! But for the life of me, I can't remember! I guess I'm one of the lucky ones, huh? I'm sure I'll have it back in my head b4 too long!

That would be a good idea because I have most of my Laverne and Shirley dreams written down! One involved my dream ending w/ Penny Marshall yelling 'cut!' So I have some pretty interesting ones! There's one that I can't explain! Whenever I'm w/ Fonzie and I always am, we're on a bus! Weird, eh?

One of my friends told me that since everytime I dream about Fonzie, he's on a bus..We're usually making out! ;) Well anywho..she says that I might meet Henry Winkler on a bus! I'd totally freak! She had a dream a few weeks b4 meeting Cindy Williams and she was on a bus with Cindy! And guess what? She met Cindy on a bus..with Eddie Mekka!!! I hope that happens to me! :)

That would be sooo cool! I don't know what I would do if I met Eddie Mekka, Michael McKean or anyone from Laverne and Shirley or Welcome Back Kotter on a bus. I'd be speechless.

I have no idea what I'd do if I met them! I mean, I could have stuff to say on the way to meeting them and when I get face to face..Aaah..BLANK! So I'll try not to freak! :) I may get my chance to meet Cindy considering she'll be touring again! :D
