(The NY Giants won the NFC Divisional Title by beating the GB Packers with a score of 37-20.)

(Ralph comes home with Ed.)

Ralph (yells): "WOW! WHAT AN UPSET!"

Ed: "What a great game for the Giants. They beat the toughest team in football. The Green Bay Packers. The defending Super Bowl champs."

(Alice comes out.)

Alice: "Boys, I am sure that you saw the game."

Ralph: "Boy, did we ever. Now, the Giants are the BIG CHEESE. HAHAHA!"

Ed: "I hope that the Packers didn't lose because they had to deal with that death in the family if you know what I mean. The death of Michael Philbin who was the son of Packers defensive coordinator Joe Philbin."

Ralph: "I don't think that that death caused them to lose the game. But, at least I am happy to see the Giants go on to the NFC Championship game against the 49ers. I also can't wait when McGarrity gets on my bus and I rub it in his face that the Giants won. If he tries to belt me, all the patrons on the bus will jump him."

Ed: "I don't know Ralph. The last time that that happened, all the patrons said that they hated..." (Ralph elbows Ed): "...oomph."

Alice: "Ralph, I just hope that you don't eat too much if the Giants win next week."

Ralph: "When was the last time that I ate too much?"

Alice: "How about..."

Ralph (yells): "DON'T YOU DARE SAY IT!"

Ed: "You know, San Francisco has the Giants baseball team. It's about time we showed the people in San Francisco a real winning Giant team. As a matter of fact, if we saw the game live, the people in San Francisco will see a real Giant fan by my side."

Ralph (yells): "GET OUT!!"

(Ed leaves.)

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "Thank you. GOOD NIGHT!"

(Audience cheers.)
