Gooooo Tebow! ;)
mets82 01-14-2012, 06:21 PM TV Fact Fan, I agree with you. I've heard enough about how great Tebow is and how he can do no wrong.
TVFactFan 01-14-2012, 06:25 PM TV Fact Fan, I agree with you. I've heard enough about how great Tebow is and how he can do no wrong.
Can you imagine if he made the superbowl? The entire pregame show would be about Tebow
Tebow playing football at elementary school
Tebow first girlfriend
the day Tebow lost his virginity
LOL
Brian Damage 01-14-2012, 06:25 PM TV Fact Fan, I agree with you. I've heard enough about how great Tebow is and how he can do no wrong.

Tim Tebow said he was a virgin and proud of that accomplishment.
TVFactFan 01-14-2012, 06:29 PM Tim Tebow said he was a virgin and proud of that accomplishment.
Ok
Tebow's grades in highschool
Tebow's activity on saturday with his dad at age 7
Tebow completing college applications
mets82 01-14-2012, 06:29 PM As far as Tebow being a virgin, thats his own business. You want to know who said hes great? Try watching ESPN is the last week.

I have an all I have heard is how Tim Tebow isn't a good qb, how they will not make the playoffs, how the Steelers will destroy them in the playoffs, how the Patriots will destroy them in the playoffs. All I hear is negativity.

It was because of how the broncos were winning. He was winning even though he had sh*TTY stats LOL
So that's how the Tebow negativity started

I think it goes deeper than that actually. He is a man of God and people resent that.
TVFactFan 01-14-2012, 06:57 PM I think it goes deeper than that actually. He is a man of God and people resent that.
No it was the stats. Remember how the Bears kept winning with Rex Grossman because of their defense and special teams?
Same thing with Tebow.
Brian Damage 01-14-2012, 07:26 PM No it was the stats. Remember how the Bears kept winning with Rex Grossman because of their defense and special teams?

Rex Grossman never got the same HATE that Tim Tebow is getting.
TVFactFan 01-14-2012, 07:30 PM Rex Grossman never got the same HATE that Tim Tebow is getting.
He never got the same hate because he wasn't HYPED UP in the media. If you see a QB bumbling and stumbling his way to a win week after week then you can't give that QB credit

Sure you can, because He WINS!!!
TVFactFan 01-14-2012, 07:40 PM Sure you can, because He WINS!!!
Not if his stats look like this
7/28, 104 yds, 1 TD and out of the 7 completed passes, one of them was a 90 yd pass that set up the one and only TD that put the Broncos ahead
LOL
Brian Damage 01-14-2012, 07:44 PM Bottom Line, He Wins LOL
MrCleveland 01-14-2012, 09:58 PM If The Broncos win...then it may be a sign of God.

I didn't see the first 2 TD's of the Pats because I was still watching Fox. They are up 14-7 and the Broncos only have 7 because of Brady's INT

MrCleveland 01-14-2012, 10:53 PM Looks like it's The Patriots Game!
dlemond 01-14-2012, 10:56 PM This game is why I routed for the Steelers last week.
Because this sh t is't happening against the Steelers.
No doubt the Patriots could or would win, but it would have been a game.
mets82 01-14-2012, 10:59 PM The fact that Tebow is a man of God, thats fine. I have no problem with that. I dont mind Tebow, the man. I do mind all this Tebow hype, that to be fair, he didnt ask for or create.
I dont see where there has been Tebow negativity considering all the hype hes getting.

They back into the playoffs and won last week due to the other team being injured and still almost lost
Brian Damage 01-14-2012, 11:14 PM They back into the playoffs and won last week due to the other team being injured and still almost lost
I hope Tim Tebow is hired by ESPN during the off season LOL
dlemond 01-14-2012, 11:14 PM It just proves that the broncos has no business in the playoffs
They won their division and that's that.
It's fair to a degree.
I think it's kind of lame that division winners that don't have a winning record make the playoffs while other teams with better records- sometimes much better records- sit home.
I can live with 8-8 making the playoffs. But 7-9 like last year with Seattle is just wrong. I don't care that they beat the Saints, a team with a winning record was more deserving to make it.
This isn't a million games like baseball. And teams that put up 10, 11 wins don't make it in favor of an 8-8 team? Just feels wrong.
But I accept it for now.

They won the division because another team lost. That's not a real division win. Same thing goes for the Giants
TVFactFan 01-14-2012, 11:17 PM I hope Tim Tebow is hired by ESPN during the off season LOL
If they do that then I will be convinced the producer of ESPN first take is a female who is getting f*cked by Tebow after midnight

The Giants at least had 9 wins.
And the Giants didn't back in. They beat their division rival to get in.
Not like the Cowboys lost to someone else that week so the Giants squeaked in.
I'm a lifelong Cowboys fan. The Giants earned it. No matter how lame that division turned out. At least it wasn't 8-8.
And I actually would have a problem with my team going to the playoffs at 8-8.
At least for a few minutes.

It's just hard for me to crown some division champs when they only won because another lost 5 in a row. Yes the Giants beat the Cowboys in week 17 but it wasn't suppsoed to come down to that

I'm glad they did get in because they stopped the Eagles from going to the SB-lol

The Giants were the better team. They came through in the end. I hate to say it but the Cowboys are soft. I don't know how they correct that.

Brian Damage 01-14-2012, 11:49 PM I don't hate denver, I just hate hearing about their QB.

It boggles this Cowboys fan's mind.
Is it truly a great head coach who can make all this talent work?
Because I don't put it all on Romo.
And the the secondary obviously sucks.
But teams with lesser talent on both sides of the ball have risen above their deficiencies and excelled.
You have to take your strengths to the extreme.
You'd think Jerry Jones would be sick of this proverbial banging the head against the wall.

Jerry Jones is the problem, he needs to stop being the GM and give it to a REAL football executive.

I was watching the 49ers game today and all I kept thinking was...look at that team. One year ago they had the same record as the Cowboys and in one year their new head coach turned them completely around. That defense looked great and even Alex Smith has turned into a good QB. I don't think they are a one year wonder either. It's sad because I hate that team. lol

I agree. With every point.
I hate the 49ers too. And to my dying day I will say that Steve Young owes his Super Bowl ring to Jerry Jones for hiring Barry Switzer.
No day on earth was Jimmy Johnson losing that NFC championship game.
Seriously, think about that. Steve Young with no ring. Not the same greatness in my mind, all things considered.
Jerry Jones should look no further than the Niners to see what his team could be. But a stubborn jackass like himself won't hire a real GM, won't get a coach to call the shots, won't just back off and let someone else do their job and win.
It's pretty pathetic. He is Al Davis.

He is and so is Dan Snyder of The Redskins. I despise when owners go onto the field. I know they own the team and cut the checks, but dang, let the TEAM have their moment.

Texans or Raven pose no.....THREAT at all
Brad Russ 01-15-2012, 11:41 AM Tebow time has only just begun. His career is New, and most likely he will just get better. I think many are failing to realize how young Tebow is. Most of the great ones didn't start off playing nearly as well as Tebow, give him time and he will only get better, and work out many of his kinks.

True...Tebow is a rookie, but give Tebow 2 more years, John Elway didn't overcome the first few years...as a matter of fact, it was 25 years after his notourious Drive. Tim Tebow has yet to do that!
Brad Russ 01-15-2012, 03:07 PM Exactly Paul. Like I just said on the ESPN board, you can't become Dan Marino overnight. And btw, yes, far too much publicity, but I would much rather a good guy who does things the right way get all this attention, then the A-Holes who usually get all the publicity.

But there may be some Tebow hate in Cleveland if we play against The Broncos in the AFC Championship and Tebow recreates "The Drive"...but I said "IF" because The "Browns" CAN'T win! (This was also the 2nd time in their Franchise History that The "Browns" couldn't beat anyone in their Division)!
isiahthomas 01-21-2012, 12:49 PM Tim Tebow seems like a good guy but i'm sick of all the attention he's getting. He's not a great quarterback. He's ok. I wasn't shocked New England killed Denver hahahahahahahahahahaha. I think Pittsburgh would've been better competition for New England.
