"Whitney " and "Are You There, Chelsea?" amount to "a one-two gut punch of dreck." PLUS: "Are You There" is useless without Chelsea Handler (http://www.salon.com/2012/01/11/chelsea_has_a_chelsea_handler_problem/) as its star.

Not sure about Are You There, Chelsea? But Whitney isn't that bad. The fact that is opposite the ABC's The Middle is probably its biggest issue.

Best programming there is in the 8pm hour (until Survivor returns, then I'll have to DVR both comedies).
Anyways, Are You There Chelsea? was hilarious and it can only get better from here on out.
Whitney started out bad, but has really developed into a nice sitcom.
Kudos NBC!

I got to watch the first episode online and it was pretty good. I'll have to DVR it next week.

Whitney has gotten better, but I'm not there with Chelsea yet.

Whitney fell to a 1.6 rating last night. It's possible it could see a 2nd season since...well this is NBC, but considering critical reception has been abysmal I think it's a long shot at this point.
