I watched this weeks episode and while it had some funny moments, alot of it, IMO, was kind of stupid. C'mon now, a lap dance scene? Maybe I'm becoming an old fuddy duddy, but I think when they start putting scenes like that in, it probably means the writers are running out of clever, funny ideas. I've always enjoyed this show in the past, but I think it's past it's prime.
I agree. "Just Shoot Me" has lost its way.
My feeling is that a sitcom tends to run out of ideas after five seasons, usually when the show has enough episodes to go into syndication.
I would think that this is probably the last season for this show, which is too bad because it is full of talented people. Hell, even George Siegal is funny from tome to time.

Hmmm....I really enjoyed the last couple of episodes...but maybe because I'm a big Nina fan. I think the show is doing alright simply by riding on the fabulous characters it's established...I hadn't really thought about plot-lines... I didn't mind the lap dance though- it seemed relavent enough because it lead to Nina's reaction (which I thought was just superb, in an insightful sort of way).
I hope the show doesn't end this season...I'd rather see JSM's hilarious characters in a half-decent show than not at all. They're such a unique and funny bunch and have fantastic chemistry!!

"Just Shoot Me" is still very funny, and I too am a huge Nina fan, and lately, many of the episodes have centered around her. Unfortunately, I have to agree that this will be the last season; either NBC will cancel it or the creaters will realize the series' destiny and make plans for the final episode. :happyface :happyface :happyface

I usually only watch this show in sydication and they show the early episodes which are pretty funny but when I do see it on NBC it really isn't all that funny.
