I catch about 3 episodes with him and I was amused. I was able to relate to him when he was talking about his hair piece because he said people know you have a hairpiece they stop looking at your eyes when they talk to you and at your piece-LOL


I don't have a hair piece but I would notice how some people would look at my thnning area of my head and not directly into my eyes.

Carol is starting to grow on me too along with Jerry. I don't like HOWARD at all

Elliott Carlin is indeed a terrific character - very relatable. Jack Riley, who played him, is from Cleveland!!!! :cool: :D He did a couple of audio commentaries with Bob Newhart on the DVD sets as well. Mr. Carlin was in about half of the show's episodes.

P.S. Jack Riley didn't wear a toupee - that was actually his own hair!!!! :crazy:
