Last Week Today Show Third Hour(Or known as Today II) Average 4.6 Million Viewers and had it Best week in a Year. It's also came close to beating the first Hour of Today Show in the Ratings which had 4.7 Million Viewers!!
I should Not that the First Hour of Today is based on Four days and were counted as specials editions. The Fourth Hour also had it best Ratings
in a year.

NEW YORK – January 6, 2012 – NBC News’ “Today” continues as the dominant morning news program spending 838 consecutive weeks in first place. Season to date, “Today” posted gains in total viewers and in the M18-49 demographic versus the same period last year.
***Please Note: GMA opted to re-title its show last week so it would not be rated. This marks the first time ever a network news program has opted to re-title its show for an entire week to not be officially rated.
The third hour of “Today” had its best total viewer and W/A25-54 deliveries since the week of December 27, 2010, and its best single-day audience since the Royal Wedding. Week-to-week, the third hour was up in homes, total viewers and in all key demographics. The fourth hour of “Today” posted its best total viewer and A25-54 deliveries since the week of December 27, 2010, and had its best W25-54 delivery ever. The fourth hour posted its best single-day audience since the Obama Inauguration.

TODAY averaged 4.745 million total viewers, +131% (+2,694,000) over Early Show.
TODAY has placed first in both homes and total viewers for 838 consecutive weeks.
In rating A25-54 TODAY outperformed Early Show by +140% (+1 full rating point).
TODAY has now won 870 straight weeks in rating A25-54.
TODAY widened its advantages over Early Show in homes, total viewers, and all key demographics versus the prior week and the same week last season.
Versus the same week last season, TODAY posted gains in rating M18-49 (+13%) and rating M25-54 (+8%).
TODAY increased its lead over Early Show compared to 4Q’11 levels in homes, total viewers, rating W/M18-49 and rating W/M/A25-54.
Season-to-date, TODAY is up in total viewers (+1, or +36,000), and rating M18-49 (+11%) compared to the same period last year.
Season-to-date, TODAY now tops Early Show by +114% (+2,872,000) in total viewers and by +132% (+1,357,000) in A25-54 (000).
TODAY II (9 a.m. hour) & III (10 a.m. hour) Highlights:
TODAY II delivered 4.656 million total viewers and a 1.5 A25-54 rating.
TODAY II posted its best total viewer delivery and W/A25-54 rating since the week of December 27, 2010.
TODAY II averaged 5.180 million total viewers on Monday, its biggest single-day audience since Friday, April 29, 2011 (Royal Wedding).
TODAY II topped CBS Early Show in homes (+113%), total viewers (+127% or +2,605,000), rating W/A18-49 (+200%/+75%/+120%) and rating W/M/A25-54 (+186%/+50%/+114%).
TODAY II beat The View in homes (+36%), total viewers (+45%, or +1,435,000), rating W/M/A18-49 (+67%/+133%/+83%) and rating W/M/A25-54 (+54%/+125%/+67%).
TODAY II outperformed The Talk in homes (+113%), total viewers (+122%, or +2,562,000), rating W/M/A18-49 (+150%/+250%/+175%), rating W/M/A25-54 (+122%/+200%/+150%).
TODAY II also beat The Chew in homes (+100%), total viewers (+103%, or +2,368,000), rating W/M/A18-49 (+150%/+133%/+120%), and rating W/M/A25-54 (+100%/+200%/+114%).

TODAY III averaged 2.912 million total viewers and a 1.0 A25-54 rating.
TODAY III posted its best total viewer delivery and A25-54 rating since the week of December 27, 2010. The program also had its best W25-54 rating ever.
On Monday, TODAY III averaged 3.388 million total viewers for its biggest single-day delivery since Tuesday, January 20, 2009 (Obama Inauguration).
TODAY III beat CBS Early Show in homes (+38%), total viewers (+42%, or +861,000), rating W/A18-49 (+120%/+60%), and rating W/A25-54 (+114%/+43%) while tying in rating M18-49 and rating M25-54.
TODAY III beat The View in rating W/M/A18-49 (+22%/+33%/+33%) and rating W/M/A25-54 (+15%/+50%/+11%).
TODAY III outperformed The Talk in homes (+38%), total viewers (+39%, or +818,000), rating W/M/A18-49 (+83%/+100%/+100%), and rating W/M/A25-54 (+67%/+100%/+67%).
TODAY III outperformed The Chew in homes (+29%), total viewers (+27%, or +624,000), rating W/M/A18-49 (+83%/+33%/+60%) and rating W/M/A25-54 (+50%/+100%/+43%).
Versus the prior week, TODAY III was up in homes (+22%), total viewers (+24%, or +566,000), rating W/A18-49 (+22%/+33%), and rating W/M/A25-54 (+25%/+50%/+25%).
TODAY III was up versus the same week last season in homes (+5%), rating A18-49 (+14%), and rating W25-54 (+7%).
Season-to-date, TODAY III has posted a gain of +2% (+49,000) in total viewers.
