Me too because of Manning being out. But they were 0-11 at one point so I guess they figured that Peyton manning didn't play defense

Brian it's his play calling too. Remember last night the Cowboys got the ball first and were driving and it was 3rd and 4.

So a normal coach whose team is on the road would keep it conservative and come up with a play to get the first down.

No, Garrett calls a long bomb to Dez Bryant which resulted in a incompletion and they had to punt. and you know the rest after that

That was the turning point of the game

Right which is why Rob Ryan should be fired. As the defensive coordinator, if that fat a$$hole sees that a player is not performing and getting burnt, he is supposed to bench him for the rest of the game. Did he do it? No, he lets the same player go out there and get burnt all night.

So Rob Ryan should be fired too

Newman should have been benched 3 games ago. It's Ryan job to see that Newman was the weaker link between him and Ball. Newman shouldn't be starting and that falls on Ryan

The eagles probably will because they are determined to be the best in the NFC east. The other teams sit around and do nothing. Now take the skins for example, they finished the season 5-11 and there has been no report of them firing anybody-LOL

It doesn't matter Brian, the organization has been successful and don't fade away after a losing season. Most teams that missed the playoffs usually miss the playoffs the next season. Read Below

Eagles
1999-missed playoffs
2000-made playoffs

2005-missed playoffs
2006-made playoffs

2007-missed playoffs

Skins-missed playoffs from 2000 to 2005

The problem with the Cowboys is Jerry Jones. He hired the coach and got the players. I don't know if Garrett's going to be a good coach. He isn't yet. He's made too many mistakes this year and the team still makes as many stupid mistakes that they did when Wade was coach. The Defense sucks. Outside of Ware and Lee, the Cowboys can't stop anybody. I've changed my opinion somewhat on Romo. Yes he makes some stupid mistakes and it cost us a couple of games this year but I don't think we end up 8-8 without him. He has to overcome some of the most idiotic players in the NFL. This team needs to be rebuilt. Unfortunately Jerry says we are a good team. Wait until next year after we play the AFC North and NFC South and end up 5-11.

Sad thing is , I remember what the team used to be when Tex Schramm was GM and Tom Landry was head coach. The Cowboys were a classy organization then. That's one of the reasons I became a Cowboys fan. I like Jerry as a person and he's good at PR but from the time he got rid of Jimmy Johnson, this organization has gone down hill. and I think the Cowboys would have won the SB in 1994 if Jimmy was still the coach. That team was better than the 1995 team that won the Sb. They just couldn't overcome giving the 49ers a 21-0 lead on a bunch of turnovers in the first few minutes of the game. I think Troy Aikman was the real coach of the Cowboys after Jimmy left.
