I don't understand. 10 years ago, this board was jumping. I wish I had joined then. How come the majority of the people here don't post anymore? I know this question has been asked before. It would be nice if more than 2 or 3 people could answer.

It was more busy when the show was on Tvland. I think when the show got taken off of Tvland, folks got busy with stuff and for got to come back on here. It's a shame cuz we sure miss everyone. I'm probably one of the few who faithfully comes on nearly every day to see what is up on here.

I try to come everyday, but not much ever going on here. :(
Yeah, when the show came back on TV, it was BIG! HUGE! All of the ladies especially remembered when they first saw the show and all the creative juices were flowing. Once it was taken off.....and no DVD sets put out......it got a lil quiet around here as people didn't see the show everyday.
Maybe 2012....being that it will be the 35th anniversary of the show ending.....can bring about another big change and more people will be around. :)

I hope TV Land will show Chico and The Man again. I still can't understand why TV Land stopped showing it. I think I heard something about the contract running out. But why did they let it run out? I'm praying for a new DVD release this year. Hopefully I'll get my wish. Even though the show isn't on TV right now, it still would be nice if most of the members would post again. I know they're lurking because sometimes you see that a lot viewed a post but didn't reply.
