...just plain horrible.

Just the very idea that this show was actually conceived, developed, put into production, (presumably) viewed and then approved by the ABC executives pretty much says it all about the state of television right now. How many genuinely funny, witty and quality pilots do you think will never see the light of day, and yet THIS is what gets the green light? Absolutely ridiculous. Worse, I'm sure this garbage's imminent failure will be used as "proof" that people don't want scripted shows anymore, thus paving the way for more reality junk and exploitative game shows.

Pathetic.

How did an awful/embarrassing sitcom like "Work It" get green light? (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/bastard-machine/work-it-is-review-embarrassing-277688)
"ABC has a problem," says Tim Goodman. "It's not just that 'Work It' is poorly written, broadly acted and apparently produced without any shame, it's that any number of people had a chance to say no to the groin-thwack against standards that is this series, but they refused." PLUS: Work It" is witless, tasteless (http://www.usatoday.com/life/television/reviews/story/2012-01-02/bianco-work-it-preview-abc/52340600/1?csp=34), poorly acted, abominably written, clumsily directed, hideously lit and badly costumed.
