I like the 2nd Opening.

Once "Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show" went-off the air in 2000...that basically ended SatAM Cartoons!

The second and third openings are a throwback to the days when ABC carried The Bugs Bunny Show and CBS aired The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour. I will go with the second opening.

No contest, the 2nd opening "Overture, This Is It!" was a great throwback its golden days from its original ABC run and on its pre-mid-1980s run on CBS.

When its was canned in 2000, it also marked the end of The Looney Tunes appearing on network TV in any shape, size of form.

That's when I felt SatAM Cartoons were officially over!

Here's how i see the decline of SatAM Cartoons...

1992-NBC stops SatAM Cartoons for National News.
1995-"Garfield and Friends" gets cancelled.
1996-E/I is introduced.
1998-One Saturday Morning launched on ABC, almost everything Disney.
2000-"Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show" gets cancelled.

There are others like the growth of Cartoon Cable Stations, Kids WB/CW going for anime, and less quality SatAM Cartoons...but for people who have lived on SatAM Cartoons, it seems Saturday would NEVER be the same!

Saturday Mornings still lives on Boomerang, but also, I liked the 1st Season of One Saturday Morning, but when they've changed hosts, I didn't care for it and plus, NBC also added TNBC, but even though The New Class STUNK, I liked California Dreams, Hang Time (except for the last 2 Seasons) and of course City Guys

I tune into Boomerang to currently catch the likes of Shirt Tales, The Snorks, The Smurfs, Flinstones, Jetsons, Tom and Jerry and sometimes Scooby Doo among shows, even though Boomerang is starting to lose some of its luster by scaling down some of their classics such as Top Cat and Jonny Quest and adding more modern cartoons such as Teen Titans.

IMO, as soon as Disney bought ABC in 1996, that also marked the decline (and eventual death) of TGiF Fridays as well.

Any non-Disney division shows that were on ABC were gonna get cancelled. The victims were Family Matters, Step by Step and Hangin' w/ Mr. Cooper. Mr. Cooper's final season was marred by timeslot changes from its then-TGiF Friday slot and pre-emptions, while Family Matters and Step by Step got canned by ABC in 1997, only to defect to CBS and get canned again in 1998.

And b/c ABC cancelled FM and SbS, it also affected the ratings of every other show that were on ABC's TGiF line-ups.

Well here's something for ya:

When The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Show and later The Bugs Bunny Looney Tunes Comedy Hour and The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show were still on Network Television Bugs Bunny and all his Looney Tunes Friends were also on Cable TV and syndication

SuperStation WTBS (later SuperStation TBS) and WGN (now known as WGN America) aired a syndicated version called Bugs Bunny and Friends while WGN aired a syndicated version of The Porky Pig Show called Porky Pig and Friends

and even when Bugs Bunny returned home to abc for the 1st time in 10 years, CBS continued to air Bugs Bunny Primetime Specials

and also, SuperStation TBS aired Tom & Jerry's Funhouse formally known as Tom & Jerry and Friends and Bugs Bunny aired on those shows as well

TNT aired Bugs Bunny and Pals which was on Everyday on Sunday Mornings, Weekday Mornings, Weekday Evenings and Saturdays

The CBN Family Channel's Fun Town Funnies showed Bugs Bunny and FAM even showed Bugs Bunny Movies and even The Disney Channel aired them, too before it became FOX Family and now abc family

and who could ever forget Nickelodeon airing Looney Tunes as well as on Nick @ Nite on the Weekends

and Cartoon Network continues to air Looney Tunes, but Boomerang should bring it back as well since Cartoon Network has gone down the drain, IMO

anybody remember them?

I sure do

Kids' WB also aired The Looney Tunes as part of their short-lived anthology series called That's Warner Bros!, which replaced the Bugs and Daffy Show there.

Yeah, I miss TGiF as well.

Television of our youth got bombarded after 1996!

Well just so ya know, Disney's One Saturday Morning debut in the fall of 1997 and the 1st Season was Pretty Good, b/c I liked Charlie, but they replaced her with a new hostess, that's when OSM wasn't the same for me

But also, 1997 ended The Popular ABC Weekend Specials and Full House left TGIF in 1991 and that was during the fall of '91 when Full House moved to Tuesday Nights and competed against Rescue 911 on CBS and Full House really shined and during the show's 5th Season, it cracked the Top 10, but during the 92/93 Season, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper debut on a Tuesday Night when it ran back to back when Full House and then, in the Fall of '93 when LORIMAR closed its door and sold their company to Warner Bros. Television, that's when the show moved to TGIF, but in the 96/97 Season, the show moved to Saturday Nights and it wasn't the same

It was certainly a sad time for abc

Does anyone collect the WB cartoons like I do? I'm missing about 15 of them that I can't find anywhere.

I'll take 2 and 3 over 1.
