View Full Version : Am I Mistaken Or Did 'Diff'rent Strokes' NOT Have A Christmas Episode? Brian Damage 12-24-2011, 12:24 PM For the life of me I can't remember one for DS MikeLutton 12-24-2011, 01:31 PM they had a couple one in the first season with the gang talking about past episodes and one with that one santa ripping their christmas presents off. Hmmm, I still can't remember them, but I'll certainly take your word for it. Thank you! :) TVFactFan 01-28-2012, 07:28 PM Just in season 1 and season 5. Season 5 didn't involve a Christmas tree but it was about Christmas julian bozo 02-01-2012, 07:54 PM There was one 5th season. Santa's Helper. Arnold spent all his money. He got a job helping a Fake Santa out so he could buy presents for his family. The guy ended up ripping off the Drummonds. It was funny Gary wore a Santa suit. ThomasE 02-01-2012, 08:05 PM I thought the season one ep was early to be doing flashbacks. Fresh Prince did that on a Halloween themed ep during its first season. I'm just nitpicking. LOL. Johnny be good! 10-09-2012, 09:26 AM The Facts of Life had more Christmas episodes than DS did. Home Improvement had one every season. ikhuri 10-19-2012, 09:04 PM Just in season 1 and season 5. The Drummonds were decorating it in the beginning of the episode while Mr. D was videotaping it. Imad TVFactFan 10-20-2012, 01:52 AM Actually there was a Xmas tree in the Season 5 episode. Imad Must be on the NBC version Billy K. 11-27-2012, 01:54 PM Exactly There was one in Season 1 - which was basically a "retrospective" that did not mention the Christmas holiday other than showing a tree in Willis'/Arnold's room. Then the one in Season 5 featured SNL Alum Garrett Morris as a Salvation Army person dressed as Santa that Arnold runs into on the street - he then later breaks into the Drummund residence. Those are the only 2 I remember. Bill EccentricGenius 01-07-2016, 06:16 PM There were two Christmas-themed episodes of "Strokes" that I'm aware of: season one's "Retrospective," and season five's "Santa's Helper." I watch "Retrospective" on DVD every year during Christmastime. |
